Unlike many colleagues, I can say that the leather is my element: I have lived and breathed it since I was little and I know all its secrets.

Because each type of leather, each layer allows you to do different processes and making a mistake in choosing the raw material would mean compromising all the work.
It is not just about choosing the best provenance, but also and above all the best supplier, the best workers and the best machinery.

Knowing that it is necessary to use excellent vegetable full grain, rich in fats and oils in order for a material to react to the heat of a print or a stitched seam, otherwise the result will be well below expectations.
And there is no dictionary or manual: experience is essential and is acquired over the years.
In the study phase, it will be crucial to choose the right material depending on the type of belt, workmanship and identity of your collection.

Here are some of the ongoing materials we work with and a small "user guide":

Lightweight full grain leather:
Tuscan "Vacchetta"
Classic vegetable-tanned Tuscan cowhide, available in both meshed and smooth versions, and with three different types of finish: glossy, semi-gloss and matt. Its use is particularly suitable for classic belts of great value.
Nappa Mousse
Classic Chrome-tanned Nappa leather, particularly soft and silky to the touch with a light grain. Like "vacchetta", it is ideal for classic belts of great value for both men and women and is particularly suitable for combining with shoes and bags.
Nappa Cervo
Classic chrome-tanned Nappa leather, very soft to the touch and with the particular grain typical of the Deer print. His choice is suitable for classic belts of great value for both men and women and for matching with the bag.
Nubuk
Classic Chrome-tanned Nubuk, soft to the touch with the particular “writing” effect typical of Nubuk. Unlike the first three materials, this one also lends itself very well to high quality casual belts, especially when combined with footwear.
Heavy full grain leather:
Volanato leather
Classic vegetable tanned Tuscan leather, characterized by a light mesh and by three different types of glossy, semi-glossy and matte finish. Ideal for high-value sports belts.
Wrinkled leather
Tuscan leather of great value characterized by a vegetable tanning with waxes and oil that gives the "pull-up" lightening effect combined with an asymmetrical crease that gives great three-dimensionality to the leather. Its use is particularly suitable for high-value sports belts.
Nubuk leather
Tuscan leather of great value, vegetable tanned and characterized by the Nubuk effect. Ideal for high-value sports belts, it lends itself very well to combining with sports shoes
Aged leather
Tuscan leather of great value, vegetable tanned and characterized by a surface finish with special waxes that give the aged effect; by washing and grinding the effect can be accentuated. Thanks to this special feature it is the perfect material for making high-value sports belts, especially when paired with jeans or vintage shoes.
Crumpled aged leather
Tuscan leather of great value, which differs from the aged one for the addition of a crease that accentuates the vintage effect. Like the previous one, it is ideal for high-value sports belts, especially when combined with jeans or vintage shoes.
Malaysia Croco Leather
Vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather of great value, characterized by a particularly beautiful and realistic classic crocodile print. Ideal for classic belts of great value.
Tejus print leather
Vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather of great value, characterized by a particularly beautiful and realistic classic “Tejus” lizard print. Its yield makes it ideal for both classic and sporty belts of great value.
Split leather
Bycast Soave
Split leather with a very classic glossy effect that makes it ideal for making classic belts for both men and women thanks to the large color chart.
Bycast Texas
Split leather with a semi-gloss effect with a very light grain that makes it the most used leather for classic belts.
Bycast Luxury
Split leather with a smooth and very shiny effect. Ideal for those who need to make elegant belts, especially if combined with footwear.
Brushed Abrasive leather
Pigmented split of the highest value that is subjected in the company to a manual brushing that gives it the typical shades of English shoes. Also in this case the material lends itself very well to the production of elegant belts, especially if combined with footwear.
Suede
Split leather with a typical suede effect, which can be natural or printed, ideal for both men's and women's belts thanks to the wide color chart available and which lends itself very well to matching bags and shoes.
Aged Suede
Split suede finished with special waxes that give it the typical vintage look. This feature allows it to be ideal for making sporty and casual belts.
Various laminates
Suede split on which an infinite amount of possible foils are applied, such as metal foils, camouflage foils, aged effect foils, pearly foils, foils with fashion micro-patterns depending on the season. The great possibility of customization makes it ideal for the production of all types of women's belts.
